Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pick a file to process?

Open a tool and tap the drop zone at the top. You can pick from the Files app, Photos library, or recent files. MediaLab supports all common video, audio, and image formats.

Where do my processed files go?

By default, MediaLab saves processed files to the same folder as the source. You can change the default destination in Settings. Use "Reveal in Files" to jump straight to the output.

Which formats are supported?

Input: MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM, MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, PNG, JPG, HEIC, and more. Output formats depend on the tool — most tools let you choose codec, quality, and container.

Does MediaLab upload my files?

No. All processing happens locally on your device using on-device media engines. Your files never leave your phone.

Can I do multiple operations in one go?

Each MediaLab tool is focused on a single action. For multi-step workflows, run the tools in sequence — each output lands in the same folder, ready for the next tool.

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. MediaLab processes everything locally and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
