Getting Started

How do I download Budge?

Budge is available on the App Store for iOS devices. Simply search for "Budge" in the App Store and tap "Get" to download and install the app on your iPhone or iPad.

Is Budge free to use?

Yes, Budge offers a free version with core expense tracking features. We also offer a premium version with advanced reporting and additional features.

Features & Functionality

Can I export my expense data?

Yes, you can export your expense data as CSV or PDF files. Go to Settings > Export Data to choose your preferred format and time range.

Does Budge support multiple currencies?

Yes, Budge supports over 150 currencies. You can set your default currency in Settings and change currencies when adding expenses.

Account & Data

How is my data stored?

Your expense data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect or store any personal financial data on our servers. Your privacy is our priority.

Can I backup my data?

Yes, you can backup your data using iCloud or iTunes backup. We also recommend using the export feature to create regular backups of your expense data.

Troubleshooting

App Won't Launch

Force close the app by swiping up from the bottom of the screen and swiping the app away.

Restart your iPhone by holding the side button and volume button until "slide to power off" appears.

After restarting, try launching Budge again.

If the issue persists, delete and reinstall the app from the App Store.

Data Not Syncing

Check your internet connection by opening Safari and loading a webpage.

Go to Settings > Budge and ensure iCloud sync is enabled.

Try manually syncing by pulling down on the main expenses screen.

If still not syncing, sign out of iCloud in Settings, then sign back in and enable sync.
