  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifying information unless you voluntarily provide it through our support contact.

Data Usage

We use the data we collect solely to provide and improve the Budge app:

  • Core Functionality: Your expense data is used to display reports, generate insights, and help you track your spending.
  • App Improvement: We may analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience.

  • iCloud Backup: If enabled, data may be backed up to your personal iCloud account. This backup is under your control and encrypted by Apple.
  • No Cloud Servers: We do not store your expense data on our servers. Your financial information remains on your device.
  • Data Retention: Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it or uninstall the app.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

  • Delete Data: You can delete any expense entry or category at any time within the app.
  • Export Data: You can export all your data as CSV or PDF files for your records.
  • Stop Data Collection: Simply stop using the app or delete it to stop all data collection.
  • Access Your Data: All your data is accessible and viewable within the app at any time.
